As water utilities expand to provide service to more customers in rural areas, water storage has become an issue of increasing importance. Sufficient water storage within a water distribution system is not only necessary for adequate pressure, but is essential to insure continued water supply during periods of unforeseen water outages or to supply ample fire flows.
